Fire Sprinkler System Designer/Estimator

This role is responsible for evaluating, estimating, and designing fire sprinkler and other water-based fire protection systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with both our sales and operations teams to ensure accurate project estimations and effective system design.

Fire Sprinkler System Designer/Estimator Responsibilities

Design layouts for piping, sprinkler heads, hangers, and associated components, ensuring compliance with NFPA standards and site-specific conditions.
Participate in Work-In-Progress (WIP) meetings to evaluate project financials and performance metrics.
Assist the operations team with developing change orders and conducting cost analyses.
Conduct on-site assessments to gather information on existing conditions relevant to the estimate.
Analyze architectural drawings, including fire alarm, electrical, mechanical, fire protection, floor plans, and reflected ceiling plans

Fire Sprinkler System Designer/Estimator Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in fire sprinkler system layout or design
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments
Proficiency in AutoCAD and HydraCAD (or equivalent design software)
NICET certification in Fire Sprinkler Systems (preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
