We're seeking an experienced Senior Staff Manufacturing Engineer to help drive production efficiency and support continuous improvement efforts across our facility.
What You'll Be Doing
- Offer hands-on engineering support for production activities, including tooling design, labor time studies, and materials planning.
- Analyze engineering modifications using PLM tools to determine impact on manufacturing workflows.
- Lead initiatives to enhance production efficiency through data-driven techniques like SPC, PFMEA, and root cause analysis.
- Create compelling business proposals and capital expenditure requests (AFEs) to support equipment and process upgrades.
- Ensure all documentation aligns with ISO 9000 standards and supports quality assurance protocols.
What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline
- At least 7 years of hands-on manufacturing experience, ideally within the automotive or heavy vehicle sector
- Skilled in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and assembly diagrams
- Proven project leadership, organizational abilities, and effective communication
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Project
