General Manager Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience as a General Manager in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, with full responsibility for profit and loss performance.
- Lead from the front by recruiting, onboarding, training, and developing a top-performing team. Foster a culture of growth and accountability by managing with an owner’s mindset.
- Drive local marketing efforts to boost brand visibility and deepen community connections. Experience with hands-on, grassroots marketing is a must.
- Set the standard for customer service and sales through personal engagement and leadership. Create memorable guest experiences that turn first-time visitors into loyal regulars.
- Streamline operations by continuously evaluating and improving processes to ensure optimal service, efficiency, and consistency.
- Analyze financial performance, interpret key metrics and P&L statements, and take action to drive profitability and correct discrepancies.
- Oversee daily operations and lead management teams to ensure smooth coordination across all areas of the business.
- Champion a safety-first culture, enforcing high standards and ensuring every team member is trained and confident in emergency procedures.
- Handle customer issues with professionalism and empathy, always aiming for balanced solutions that support both the customer and the business.
- Use data to lead, identifying performance trends and closing gaps through strategic planning and execution.
