We are seeking a skilled and creative Chef de Cuisine to elevate the culinary program of a successful, high-volume scratch kitchen. This leader will refine execution, strengthen systems, and drive consistent, high-quality food.

Chef de Cuisine Responsibilities

  • Lead daily kitchen operations and uphold high culinary standards
  • Improve existing dishes through enhanced technique, flavor, and presentation
  • Partner with leadership on menu development and seasonal updates
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff to ensure consistency and strong skills
  • Manage ordering, inventory, and food costs to meet financial goals

Chef de Cuisine Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of leadership experience in high-volume, upscale scratch kitchens
  • Strong culinary technique, palate, and understanding of kitchen operations
  • Proven ability to enhance or refine existing menus
  • Solid experience training, developing, and motivating kitchen teams
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen financials

Ideal Chef de Cuisine Candidate

  • Hands-on leader committed to raising culinary standards
  • Calm, organized, and effective in a fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about team development and operational excellence
  • Creative yet disciplined, with a strong eye for detail and some experience with scratch Italian cuisine
  • Culinary degree preferred but not required
