About the Role
A well-established hospice organization is seeking an experienced Director of Business Development to lead market growth and admissions strategy in the Fort Worth/DFW area. This senior leadership role is responsible for driving census growth, managing referral relationships, and leading a high-performing business development team in a compliance-driven environment.
The ideal candidate brings deep hospice business development experience, strong hospital and SNF relationships, and a hands-on leadership approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute hospice business development strategy across hospital and SNF markets
- Drive admissions growth and census performance
- Build, maintain, and expand referral relationships with hospitals, SNFs, and community partners
- Recruit, mentor, and manage Community Liaisons / BD team members
- Monitor KPIs, referral trends, and market performance
- Partner with clinical and executive leadership on growth and LOS strategy
- Ensure all referral and marketing activity aligns with hospice compliance requirements
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of hospice business development leadership experience
- Proven track record of admissions growth in a hospice environment
- Established relationships with hospital and SNF referral sources
- Strong understanding of hospice compliance and referral regulations
Preferred
- Experience leading and scaling BD teams
- Deep knowledge of the Fort Worth / Tarrant County market
