Established, high-volume scratch-kitchen restaurant is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef and oversee daily back-of-house operations. The Sous Chef will play a key role in maintaining consistency, food quality, and safety standards while leading, training, and motivating the kitchen team. This position requires a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced service environments and takes pride in building a positive and professional kitchen culture.

Sous Chef Requirements and Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager in a full-service, high-volume kitchen
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to train, mentor, and retain back-of-house staff
- Proficiency in inventory control, ordering, scheduling, and cost management
- Calibrate with Executive Chef to lead a team of 18-25 BOH team members
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure during high-demand service periods
- Bi-Lingual (Spanish)
Sous Chef Preferred Background and Skills:
- Familiarity with coordinating kitchen operations for events or large group dining
- Track record of improving operational efficiency and maintaining consistent standards
- ServeSafe certification or equivalent preferred
