Executive Chef – Garden City Center

Executive Chef Benefits & Compensation
- Competitive compensation $85,000–$95,000 per year

Executive Chef Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of previous experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume establishment
- Culinary Arts degree preferred, but exceptional experience will be considered
- Must have a flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed
- Strong communication skills
- Proven history of high-quality cuisine, preferably in high-volume production of fresh, scratch food
- Experience in cost controls
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move 25-50 pounds
- Collaborative approach to creating an equitable workplace environment with respectful working relationships
Executive Chef Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all kitchen activities, ensuring efficient, profitable, safe, and sanitary food service
- Manage labor and food cost controls as well as budgeting
- Engineer menus to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency
- Hire, train, and develop kitchen staff while managing performance and team culture
