Senior Family Law Attorney Requirements & Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active New Jersey Bar or New York Bar admission, in good standing
8+ years of experience practicing Family Law
Proven trial experience
Demonstrated discretion, professionalism, and ethical conduct in sensitive Family Law matters
Excellent negotiation and litigation skills
Portable book of business preferred

Must Haves:

Independently manage a full caseload of Family Law matters
Provide representation in divorce, custody, support, and domestic violence cases
Draft, analyze, and negotiate Family Law documents and agreements
Represent clients in hearings and settlement negotiations
Supervise and delegate work to paralegal support staff
Maintain proactive, empathetic communication with clients
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented firm culture

Senior Family Law Attorney – Preferred Background & Skills:

Experience in Estate Planning a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
High emotional intelligence and client empathy
Interest in growing within a collaborative, remote legal team
