Sous Chef

Requirements & Qualifications

2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef in a fine dining or upscale casual environment
Strong culinary skills and genuine passion for food
Proven leadership abilities with experience managing staff
Bachelor’s degree preferred

Must Haves

Oversee Kitchen Managers and Back of House staff, ensuring a positive and efficient work environment
Support kitchen operations to maintain consistency, quality, and timely service
Assist in menu creation, inventory management, and upholding food safety standards
Step in for the Head Chef when needed to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
Experience in $10 million plus high volume restaurants with a strong April-October tourist season

Preferred Background & Skills

Experience working in a seasonal, high-volume kitchen
Creativity in menu development and plating
Knowledge of current culinary trends and techniques
Strong organizational and communication skills
