Commercial Lines Producer — High‑Growth Independent Brokerage (Houston, TX)

A fast‑growing independent insurance brokerage in Houston, TX specializing in commercial real estate is hiring a Commercial Lines Producer. This role is ideal for a motivated producer with a strong network or the capacity to build a book of business in the middle‑market commercial P&C space.

Responsibilities

  • Source and close new commercial real estate accounts (property owners, managers and developers).
  • Maintain relationships with clients, carrier underwriters and wholesale partners.
  • Review statements of value (SOVs), rent rolls, loss runs and policy documents (training provided).
  • Collaborate closely with account managers to ensure exceptional client service.
  • Maintain a steady pipeline and meet or exceed growth targets.

Who You Are

  • Sales or insurance experience preferred; commercial real estate knowledge a plus.
  • Excellent communication, relationship‑building and organizational skills.
  • Self‑driven and goal‑oriented; excited to specialize in commercial real estate.
  • Holds (or can obtain) a General Lines – Property & Casualty license .

Compensation Options

  • Base salary + commission (ideal for producers building a book): $50K base with uncapped commissions and performance bonuses.
  • Clear on‑target earnings (OTE) and detailed commission structure available; we’re transparent about income potential to support your decision .
