General Manager

General Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a General Manager in an upscale, high-volume establishment
- Flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
General Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to build relationships and manage staff
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move 25-50 pounds
- Collaborative approach to creating an equitable workplace environment
General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Ensure a quality guest experience by managing all areas of the restaurant's daily operations
- Hire, train, and develop employees and managers, focusing on guest service, etiquette, and food and beverage knowledge
- Perform daily reconciliation of actual revenues and payroll to budget and forecast
- Maintain familiarity with financials, budgets, purchasing, labor costs, food costing, and inventory controls
