Senior Restaurant Manager Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of food and beverage operations management experience in a fine dining environment or at a 4 or 5 star/diamond level hotel restaurant.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage, Restaurant Operations, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of all front-of-house roles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work long hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel spreadsheets, Word, and other common software programs.
  • Strong people skills with the ability to connect easily with both internal and external guests.

Senior Restaurant Manager Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily operations to ensure a smooth workflow and high service standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Understand financials and forecasting to drive operational success.
  • Actively engage with guests to enhance their dining experience and address any concerns.
  • Support the team by stepping in as needed to ensure successful operations.
