Executive Chef Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior kitchen leadership role in an upscale environment.
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven ability to drive sales targets and manage financials effectively.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
Executive Chef Preferred Background & Skills
- Culinary skills with a passion for creativity and innovation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with kitchen management software.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
Executive Chef Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee culinary operations to ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
- Develop and maintain an elevated, diverse menu that caters to various tastes and dietary requirements.
- Monitor guest feedback to improve food offerings and overall service.
- Manage kitchen budget, including food and labor costs, while maximizing profitability.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and train kitchen staff to build a high-performing team.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
