Executive Chef Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior kitchen leadership role in an upscale environment.
  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven ability to drive sales targets and manage financials effectively.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

Executive Chef Preferred Background & Skills

  • Culinary skills with a passion for creativity and innovation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with kitchen management software.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.

Executive Chef Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Oversee culinary operations to ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
  • Develop and maintain an elevated, diverse menu that caters to various tastes and dietary requirements.
  • Monitor guest feedback to improve food offerings and overall service.
  • Manage kitchen budget, including food and labor costs, while maximizing profitability.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and train kitchen staff to build a high-performing team.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
