An hourly manager for a Fast-Casual Concept in Elizabethtown, KY, is responsible for assisting with daily operations, including opening and closing the restaurant, and managing staff during their shift. Key duties include ensuring customer satisfaction by expediting orders, performing cash register tasks, stocking inventory, and enforcing company policies and safety procedures. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 

Key responsibilities

  • Shift management: Oversee daily operations, lead and motivate the team, and ensure service standards are met during the shift.
  • Opening/Closing: Assist with opening and closing procedures for the restaurant.
  • Customer service: Provide a fast, accurate, and friendly guest experience, including expediting food orders.
  • Team leadership: Give clear direction, motivate staff, and handle issues or concerns with empathy.
  • Inventory and stocking: Help stock shelves with products and ensure the restaurant is properly supplied.
  • Cash management: Assist with counting and managing cash registers.
  • Compliance: Follow company policies, procedures, and all state and federal laws regarding safety and food handling.

Required skills and experience

  • Experience in a leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong personal accountability and integrity.
  • Ability to motivate a team and provide constructive feedback.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
