Overview:
We are seeking a Title Paralegal to join our Builder Team. The ideal candidate will have strong title experience and the ability to review, interpret, and clear title commitments, plats, and surveys. Candidates located in Florida—or those who have worked as a Processor handling Florida real estate files—are especially well-suited for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret title commitments, plats, and surveys to identify requirements, exceptions, and curative needs.
- Conduct public record searches to verify ownership, liens, and encumbrances.
- Work with title underwriters, attorneys, and clients to resolve and clear title issues.
- Prepare correspondence and documentation related to title clearance and resolution.
- Collaborate with closing paralegals and builder clients to ensure timely policy issuance.
- Maintain detailed records of title review and curative progress.
- Utilize Soft Pro to manage title documentation, updates, and reporting.
- Communicate professionally with internal teams and builder clients.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2–3 years of title or real estate paralegal experience.
- Experience with builder or new-construction files preferred.
- Processor experience in the Florida real estate market, highly transferable and encouraged.
- Proficiency with Soft Pro or Qualia.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and written/verbal communication.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities remotely.
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday–Friday. This role is remote, with occasional travel to the Atlanta office (2–3 times per year) for collaboration and training.
