Litigation Paralegal / Administrative Assistant (Hybrid)

Location: Atlanta, GA

Work Model: Hybrid (in-office collaboration + remote flexibility)

Position Summary

A well-established professional services firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal / Administrative Assistant to support attorneys in a fast-paced litigation practice. This hybrid role combines hands-on litigation support with administrative responsibilities and requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and sound judgment.

The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and comfortable managing deadlines while supporting multiple attorneys in a litigation environment with significant discovery and deposition activity.


Key Responsibilities

Litigation Support

  • Provide comprehensive litigation support across active matters, with a strong focus on discovery and depositions
  • Assist with drafting, organizing, and managing discovery requests, responses, and productions
  • Prepare deposition materials, exhibits, summaries, and related documentation
  • Coordinate depositions, including scheduling, notices, court reporters, and logistics
  • Prepare, format, and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents in compliance with court rules and deadlines
  • Track litigation deadlines, hearings, and court dates to ensure timely compliance
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files
  • Coordinate with courts, opposing counsel, vendors, and internal teams as directed

Administrative Support

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to one or more attorneys
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, hearings, and depositions
  • Handle phone calls, emails, and correspondence with professionalism and discretion
  • Proofread, format, and finalize legal documents
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive and privileged information

Qualifications

Required

  • Prior experience as a litigation paralegal or legal administrative assistant with meaningful litigation exposure
  • Hands-on experience supporting discovery and deposition processes
  • Strong understanding of litigation procedures, deadlines, and court filings
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)

Preferred

  • Experience with Georgia courts and e-filing systems
  • Familiarity with case management or document management software
  • Paralegal certificate or relevant legal training
