Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of staff recruiting, including posting jobs, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and collaborating with placement agencies.
  • Serve as the Account Administrator for the firm’s LinkedIn account.
  • Conduct new-hire orientations and ensure onboarding processes are completed accurately.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding benefits, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews for secretarial staff and make recommendations for assignments.
  • Develop and maintain job descriptions and position specifications.
  • Champion culture through the firm’s monthly Employee Newsletter and internal communications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of progressively responsible HR experience.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of confidentiality.
  • Proven experience in recruiting, particularly for legal support staff is a PLUS.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with HR databases.
  • LinkedIn account management experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work fully on-site and travel between Milwaukee and Brookfield (one day per week at Brookfield).
