Resort Accounting Manager Qualifications:
- 2+ years as an Accounting Manager or Controller in a resort setting
- 5 years of experience in accounting
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Mentor style of leadership and developmental approach to management
Resort Accounting Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounting team with consistency and integrity
- Ensure accurate A/R, A/P, income auditing, and payroll
- Assist the Director of Finance with monthly and year-end closings, preparing journal entries, and accruals
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and GAAP standards
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning
- Prepare financial reports and statements, owner reports and investor communications
- Other duties as assigned
