Our client is growing and is looking for an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join their team! Qualified candidates will have the ability to support the accounting team with a focus on Accounts Receivable, including collections, payment application, credit management, and customer setup. This role emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and continuous process improvement. You will enjoy working onsite in this laid back, casual environment! A/R Analyst Responsibilities:
- Manage A/R collections, payments, and credit holds while ensuring excellent customer service.
- Process and apply payments accurately; reconcile AR accounts and ensure general ledger accuracy.
- Review and approve new credit applications; analyze credit reports and references.
- Maintain and verify sales tax exemptions; assist with tax audits as needed.
- Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service to resolve chargebacks, adjustments, and claims.
- Monitor credit limits, assess account health, and communicate with customers regarding credit and payment issues.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Support the accounting team with various projects and overflow tasks.
A/R Analyst Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s degree or 2–4 years of A/R or accounting experience.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vLookups).
- Knowledge of SAP preferred.
- Strong A/R and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- Problem-solving ability and team-oriented mindset
- Capable of handling high-volume work efficiently and independently
