Senior Construction Foreman – Heavy Civil / Sitework / Utilities

About the Opportunity

Join a respected and growing civil construction contractor delivering high-quality sitework and utility infrastructure projects across the Philadelphia region.

We’re seeking a Senior Construction Foreman who thrives in the field—leading crews, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on earthwork, grading, demolition, concrete, asphalt, and underground utilities (storm, sanitary, and water mains). You’ll coordinate directly with the Superintendent and Project Manager to drive productivity, maintain safety, and deliver top-tier results.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead daily field operations and manage multiple sitework or utility crews
  • Oversee subcontractors, field teams, and vendors to ensure accountability and quality
  • Manage schedules, materials, and equipment to keep projects on track
  • Communicate daily with Project Managers, Engineers, and Inspectors
  • Enforce safety, permitting, and quality control standards on every site
  • Maintain accurate daily logs and progress reporting
  • Serve as the on-site problem solver for field challenges and logistics

What You Bring

  • 8–15+ years of experience in heavy civil, sitework, or utility construction
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate field crews in fast-paced environments
  • Strong working knowledge of earthwork, grading, stormwater, and utilities
  • Experience delivering projects in the $1M–$3M range
  • Understanding of local codes, municipal permitting, and public works standards
  • Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Office, and scheduling tools
  • Based within commuting distance of the Philadelphia metro area (PA, NJ, or DE)

Why Join Us

  • Competitive salary ($115K–$135K) + vehicle allowance + fuel card
  • Comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, 401k, PTO)
  • Local, steady pipeline of public and private civil projects
  • Opportunities for advancement into Superintendent or Project Manager roles
  • Company culture built on safety, teamwork, and long-term growth
