A leading nonprofit organization in the social services sector is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to oversee recruitment and workforce development across multiple programs and departments. This individual will play a critical role in attracting top-tier professionals, enhancing retention, and fostering a mission-driven culture that supports community impact.


Talent Acquisition ManagerKey Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for social services and administrative roles, from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Partner with leadership to identify staffing needs and develop workforce planning strategies.
  • Manage job postings across multiple platforms, ensuring brand consistency and compliance.
  • Conduct candidate screenings, first-round interviews, and salary assessments.
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and provide timely feedback throughout the process.
  • Maintain and distribute weekly open positions reports; present updates to executive leadership.
  • Represent the organization at career fairs and develop strategic partnerships with colleges, agencies, and professional associations.
  • Oversee background checks, reference verifications, and compliance documentation.
  • Stay informed on labor laws, HR best practices, and state/federal employment regulations.
  • Contribute to HR initiatives related to staff development, retention, and recruitment strategy.

Talent Acquisition ManagerQualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–3 years of experience conducting interviews and managing recruitment processes.
  • Prior experience within the social services or nonprofit sector preferred.
  • Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), Microsoft Office Suite, and digital recruiting tools.
  • Organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
