Director of People and Talent – Northern Virginia Restaurant

Join a growing multi-unit restaurant concept as the Director of People and Talent, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the workforce and culture of the organization. This is an exciting opportunity for a resourceful, people-first leader to drive strategic HR initiatives and talent management.

Director of People and Talent Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the restaurant industry
  • SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification is a plus
  • Proven experience in strategic HR leadership and talent acquisition
  • Strong understanding of labor laws and compliance specific to the hospitality industry
  • Ability to analyze HR metrics and reports to inform strategic decisions
  • Experience managing employee relations and conflict resolution

Director of People and Talent Preferred Background & Skills:

  • Director-level experience in a hospitality company
  • Experience with scaling growth companies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative, positive, and resilient mindset
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to align HR initiatives with business goals
  • Proficiency in HRIS and technology
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality
