General Manager Requirements & Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing volumes above $10 million
- Demonstrated ability to manage and execute profit plans successfully
- Strong problem-solving skills with humility and business-minded focus
- Natural leader who is self-aware, excellence-driven, and committed to coaching and training
- Ability to work closely with hands-on ownership while maintaining strong company culture and values
- Drive, ambition, and loyalty are highly valued over advanced education
- Actively engaged in the community
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring brand standards in service, food quality, and financial performance
- Lead, hire, and develop management and restaurant staff through coaching and performance evaluations
- Monitor food preparation and enforce compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Maintain guest satisfaction and resolve customer complaints with professionalism
- Manage inventory, food/beverage costs, and vendor relations
- Conduct regular inspections of restaurant operations and equipment; coordinate maintenance as needed
- Oversee compliance with alcoholic beverage regulations and operational reporting requirements
General Manager Preferred Background & Skills:
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills with proven success developing teams
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Sales-driven and results-oriented with a passion for people and operational excellence
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and create a positive winning culture for the team
- Experience improving sales performance and controlling costs
