This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to make an impact by providing comprehensive legal support to a collaborative group of attorneys.

You’ll manage complex case files, assist in drafting and filing key legal documents, and play a critical role in keeping cases on track from start to finish, all within a professional, growth-oriented environment.

Litigation Legal Assistant Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Provide administrative and paralegal support for litigation attorneys, including maintaining files, managing calendars, scheduling depositions and meetings, and coordinating travel
  • Assist with new client and matter intake, including conflict checks and engagement letters
  • Prepare, proofread, and finalize correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with court requirements
  • Calculate, calendar, and track court deadlines; perform e-filings in state and federal courts
  • Organize, format, and maintain documents in both paper and electronic filing systems
  • Conduct basic legal research and support attorney workflow as needed
  • Minimum 5 years of litigation legal assistant experience in a private law firm, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and document management systems; strong organizational, communication, and team collaboration skills required
