We are seeking a talented and dedicated Executive Sous Chef for an upscale restaurant in Miami. If you are experienced with Latin fusion cuisine, banquets, and enjoy mentoring teams, please apply to this amazing opportunity to join a highly respected culinary team!

Executive Sous Chef Requirements:

  • 7–10 years’ experience in a professional, busy kitchen and/or fine dining restaurant environment 
  • Must have 2–5 years’ experience with a leading Chef role, with heavy banquet experience
  • Experience with event planning, and banquet menu development, & associated costs
  • Culinary Certificate or Degree from an accredited culinary agency is preferred
  • Ability to cultivate a culture of innovation, teamwork, and culinary excellence within the kitchen
  • Experience with upscale Latin cuisine is a plus!
  • Must possess Serve Safe Certification 

Executive Sous Chef Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all aspects of the kitchen, such as menu plans, operations, recipes, portion and inventory control, food quality, and employee supervision
  • Must provide a consistent product and experience achieving revenue targets and managing costs
  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and management team to ensure the kitchen operates seamlessly
  • Supervise food preparation, presentation, and quality to maintain the highest culinary standards
  • Support the implementation and enforcement of food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Contribute to inventory management, cost control, and vendor relationships
