Kitchen Manager – Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of kitchen management experience in Fine Dining or Steakhouse
- Exposure to volume over $8M
- Proven success in upscale or fine dining environments
- Strong financial acumen, including P&L oversight and food cost control
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Ability to train, motivate, and retain high-performing kitchen staff
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Must Haves
- Lead daily pre-shift meetings to align BOH team on service standards and prep goals
- Collaborate with FOH leadership to ensure seamless guest experience and ticket flow
- Conduct weekly inventory audits and adjust pars based on forecasted volume
- Implement systems for prep efficiency and waste reduction
- Actively participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews
- Maintain a culture of safety, cleanliness, and pride in execution
Kitchen Manager – Preferred Background & Skills
- Spanish language proficiency REQUIRED
- Experience with new restaurant openings or concept launches
- Familiarity with high-volume food halls or multi-unit operations
- Culinary degree or formal training a plus
- Passion for mentoring and developing future leaders
