Job Summary:
The Chief Engineer maintains the entire facility, overseeing mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems. Responsibilities include project management and budget oversight, reporting to the Lodging Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians.
- Manage budgets and project timelines.
- Monitor inventory and manage emergency situations.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in facility management or 5-7 years of related experience.
- Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
- Proficient in MS Office and CAD software.
- Certifications in PMP, EPA, and OSHA preferred.
Required Skills:
- High quality of work and productivity.
- Strong customer service and supervisory skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork.
Work Environment:
- Indoor/outdoor with moderate to high noise levels.
- May require work in high places.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent walking, lifting up to 75 lbs, and climbing.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Compensation: Starting salary: $90,000 – $110,000, based on experience.
