Job Summary:

The Chief Engineer maintains the entire facility, overseeing mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems. Responsibilities include project management and budget oversight, reporting to the Lodging Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Lead a team of maintenance technicians.
• Manage budgets and project timelines.
• Monitor inventory and manage emergency situations.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in facility management or 5-7 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Proficient in MS Office and CAD software.
• Certifications in PMP, EPA, and OSHA preferred.

Required Skills:

• High quality of work and productivity.
• Strong customer service and supervisory skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork.

Work Environment:

• Indoor/outdoor with moderate to high noise levels.
• May require work in high places.

Physical Demands:

• Frequent walking, lifting up to 75 lbs, and climbing.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Compensation: Starting salary: $90,000 – $110,000, based on experience.
