Policy Admin System Manager– Remote (U.S.)
A fast-growing insurance organization is seeking an IMS Analyst/Manager to own and optimize its MGA policy administration platform. This is a mission-critical, hands-on role responsible for configuration, integrations, workflows, and release management — the backbone of how underwriting and submissions are processed.
What You’ll Do:
- Act as product owner for the IMS (now known as Vertafore MGA Systems) platform: backlog, enhancements, release planning.
- Configure new programs (rating, forms, workflows, user permissions).
- Document programs, manage testing, and deploy changes into production.
- Partner with underwriters and business analysts to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Work with vendors and offshore resources to ensure accurate data entry and system usability.
- Oversee integrations (rating engines, payments, e-sign, data providers, reporting).
- Maintain compliance with carrier reporting, bordereaux, and regulatory updates.
- Troubleshoot issues, lead UAT, and drive continuous improvement/automation initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5–10 years of insurance technology experience with MGA focus.
- 3+ years of hands-on Vertafore IMS experience (required).
- Proven track record configuring and maintaining PAS (rating tables, forms, workflows, authority rules).
- Experience with deployments, testing, and vendor coordination.
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Compensation: $125K–$150K base (flexible) + bonus
Location: Fully remote within the U.S.
