Assistant General Manager – Nantucket, MA

A leading, high-volume restaurant on the beautiful island of Nantucket is seeking an Assistant General Manager. Requirements & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as an Assistant General Manager in upscale casual or fine dining
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • ServSafe and Allergen Certifications required
  • Genuine passion for hospitality and guest service excellence
  • Experience in $10 million plus high volume restaurants with a strong April-October tourist season

Must Haves

  • Oversee and support all front-of-house operations to ensure seamless service
  • Partner with the General Manager to drive strong financial performance
  • Lead, motivate, and develop team members to deliver an exceptional guest experience
  • Resolve guest issues with professionalism, efficiency, and a focus on satisfaction

  • Proven success in high-volume, seasonal, or resort-style operations
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to build culture and morale
  • Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability in fast-paced environments
