Senior Accountant

A well-established healthcare manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant to join the accounting team. This role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of financial functions while supporting leadership and helping drive accurate reporting and process improvement.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5 years of accounting experience (manufacturing industry experience preferred)
• CPA or MBA a plus, but not required
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel
• ERP software experience (SAP, Oracle, INFOR, or ACCPAC) highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail with ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Must Haves:

• Perform general ledger accounting including reconciliations and journal entries
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis to budget/forecast
• Maintain records of operating results including sales, orders, and operating profit
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of AP, AR, and employee expense reports
• Support cash flow analysis, reporting, and forecasting
• Partner with external auditors and support annual audit preparation
• Recommend and support improvements to accounting processes and controls

Preferred Background & Skills:

• Experience working in a manufacturing or healthcare-related organization
• Prior exposure to cash management or treasury functions
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across departments
• Interest in professional growth with potential to move into a leadership role
