Heavy Equipment Maintenance Manager

Seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Manager to oversee operations, maintenance, and repair of heavy machinery in a scrapyard.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise equipment operations and regular maintenance (loaders, excavators, cranes, shredders).
  • Lead a team of operators and mechanics.
  • Ensure safety compliance and equipment efficiency.
  • Manage repair budgets and coordinate equipment purchases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machinery issues.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years managing heavy equipment in industrial/scrapyard settings.
  • Technical knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance.
  • Strong leadership, troubleshooting, and budgeting skills.
  • Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations.
  • High school diploma (technical certification preferred).
