Heavy Equipment Maintenance Manager
Seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Manager to oversee operations, maintenance, and repair of heavy machinery in a scrapyard.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise equipment operations and regular maintenance (loaders, excavators, cranes, shredders).
- Lead a team of operators and mechanics.
- Ensure safety compliance and equipment efficiency.
- Manage repair budgets and coordinate equipment purchases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machinery issues.
Requirements:
- 5+ years managing heavy equipment in industrial/scrapyard settings.
- Technical knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance.
- Strong leadership, troubleshooting, and budgeting skills.
- Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations.
- High school diploma (technical certification preferred).
