General Manager – New Upscale Concept
About Us
An exciting new restaurant group is opening its flagship upscale, high-volume restaurant in Philadelphia. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead the opening team and oversee all aspects of operations for this landmark concept. This is a rare opportunity to play a key leadership role in launching one of Philly’s most anticipated dining destinations.
Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and direction for all restaurant operations
- Hire, train, and develop a high-performing front- and back-of-house team
- Establish and maintain service standards that exceed guest expectations
- Drive financial performance through effective cost control, budgeting, and P&L management
- Partner with ownership and the culinary team on strategic initiatives, marketing, and guest engagement
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations
- Lead the successful execution of a new restaurant opening, including systems implementation and team onboarding
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive restaurant management experience, with at least 2 years as a General Manager in an upscale or high-volume environment
- Proven success in driving guest satisfaction, team performance, and financial results
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on, adaptable, and committed to delivering exceptional hospitality
- Experience with new openings is highly preferred
