We are seeking a motivated and experienced Mid-Level Litigation Associate to join our thriving Litigation Practice in either our Lexington or Louisville, Kentucky office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, with strong legal writing, analytical, and courtroom skills. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated attorney to grow within a dynamic firm that values professional development and offers meaningful courtroom exposure.

Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials across general, commercial, and energy litigation matters.
  • Conduct legal research, draft memoranda, pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
  • Manage case files, deadlines, and document production with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop litigation strategies and trial preparation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.
  • Stay current with relevant laws and legal developments to support case management.

Litigation Attorney Requirements:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
  • Active license to practice law in the state of Kentucky.
  • Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, ideally in general, commercial, or energy litigation.
  • Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Demonstrated desire and confidence to appear in court and handle litigation matters independently.
