A rapidly growing multi-unit restaurant group is seeking an experienced and driven Director of Operations to lead performance across multiple locations. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, building strong teams, driving financial results, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate is results-oriented, people-focused, and ready to lead a culture of execution and growth.

Director of Operations Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years in a Director-level role overseeing 15+ multi unit restaurant operations
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and P&L management
  • Proven leadership skills in team development and performance coaching
  • ServSafe certification required
  • Able to travel frequently (>75%) and work flexible hours including nights/weekends
  • Proficient in restaurant management and performance tracking systems
  • Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, and organizational skills

Director of Operations Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across multiple restaurants to ensure consistency and compliance
  • Lead and develop District Managers through regular coaching, training, and reviews
  • Manage budgets and execute cost-saving strategies to maximize profitability
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and ensure high guest satisfaction ratings
  • Monitor operational metrics and execute action plans for improvement
  • Ensure adherence to food safety, cleanliness, and brand standards
  • Participate in leadership meetings and align operational strategies with company goals
  • Build and maintain a strong internal talent pipeline for management roles
