Executive Sous Chef Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a Michelin-starred or high-end dining kitchen
- Strong foundation in refined culinary techniques, including butchery and plating
- Proven ability to support and lead a team in a fast-paced, detail-oriented kitchen
- Experience managing inventory, ordering, and cost control
- Understanding and adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Executive Sous Chef Preferred Background & Skills
- Previous experience in a leadership or sous chef role within a fine dining or Michelin-starred environment
- Creativity and input in seasonal menu development and dish innovation
- Strong communication and mentoring skills to inspire kitchen staff
- Ability to collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and management team to maintain consistency and excellence
