About the Opportunity
A well-established independent insurance agency is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to join its close-knit, client-centered team. This role is ideal for a service-driven insurance professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and values long-term relationships over transactional interactions.
What Makes This Role Unique

- Balanced environment: A team-oriented, low-pressure culture that values both professional success and personal well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day servicing of personal lines accounts (policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, quoting, changes, and client communication).
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with a focus on retention and quality service.
- Proactively identify areas for process improvement and collaborate with leadership to implement changes.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation in agency management systems.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years personal-lines account management or CSR experience (more preferred).
- Active OH P&C License
- Skills: Strong client service skills, coachable, adaptable, and detail-oriented.
- Mindset: Solutions-focused, proactive, and able to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Familiarity with Hawksoft a plus, but not required—training provided.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary $50,000–$57,000
- Health & life insurance (100% employer-paid for employee; family coverage available at employee cost).
- 401(k) with 4% match.
- Short-term disability coverage.
- Flexible hours (any 8-hour shift between 8 a.m.–6 p.m.).
- 2 weeks PTO.
- Professional development support: 2 hours/week dedicated learning time + full designation reimbursement.
Who Will Thrive Here
This role is perfect for someone who:
- Values long-term client relationships over high-pressure sales.
- Wants to work in a supportive, stable agency with a collaborative, small-team culture.
- Is proactive, coachable, and committed to continual improvement.
