Water & Sewer Construction Superintendent – Benefits and Compensation

Water & Sewer Construction Superintendent – Requirements & Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Construction, Environmental Science, or related field (required)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in water/sewer utility work
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or field leadership experience
- GA Water Distribution – Level I or II only
- GA Wastewater Collection System Certification – Level I or II only
- Valid Georgia driver’s license
- Must be fully comfortable with a 24/7 on-call expectation
Water & Sewer Construction Superintendent Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day construction and maintenance projects for water, sewer, and meter systems
- Assign and oversee work for utility crews; ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Conduct site inspections and resolve operational issues in the field
- Manage preventative maintenance activities for pipelines, pumps, valves, and related infrastructure
- Serve as point of contact for emergencies, project issues, and contractor coordination
