Legendary Chicago steakhouse group is seeking a talented Executive Chef to join their team. This upscale fine-dining restaurant is first in class when it comes to quality and amazing tasting food that leaves its kitchens. The ideal Chef is experienced with Italian cuisine, steaks, and chops and has a passion for excellent food and presentation. Must be self-driven to oversee all culinary activities for the restaurant. You will be joining a strong team of professionals where your hard work is generously rewarded.
Restaurant Executive Chef's Requirements:
- High-Volume experience 12+ million a year
- 5+ years Executive Chef experience in upscale dining
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent track record for staffing and performance management
- Ability to lead by example with strong attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a chef-driven environment
- Skilled in leading and developing one's team
Restaurant Executive Chef's Responsibilities:
- Mentoring and development
- Deliver feedback and hold the team accountable to all standards
- Effectively track actual financial results and make adjustments to meet goals as needed
- Manage all revenue, payroll, expenses, and cost of sales budget successfully
- Ensure all equipment is functioning in proper order
- Comply with all county and state laws governing food service operations
