Vice President of Finance Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (CPA, CFA, or graduate degree highly preferred)
  • Minimum 10 years of finance leadership experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Minimum 3 years in a VP-level or regional corporate finance role within hospitality
  • Proven experience in financial evaluation, modeling, and strategic planning
  • Background in both resort and condominium hospitality operations
  • Proficiency in asset management, capital planning, financial reporting, insurance, and risk management
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting systems, MS Office Suite, and preferably ERP systems used in hospitality
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to ethical financial practices
  • Collaborative leadership style with a humble, hospitality-driven mindset

Vice President of Finance Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial performance evaluation, reporting, and analysis across all company operations
  • Lead the development and execution of the company’s overall financial strategy
  • Manage asset management functions to ensure value preservation and long-term financial health
  • Oversee insurance coverage and risk management across all properties and affiliated entities
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to provide strategic financial recommendations that support growth and operational goals
  • Support the Chief Financial Officer in managing financing structures and liquidity planning for both domestic (Hawaii) and international properties
  • Ensure the financial stability of all affiliated entities, maintaining a strong focus on forecasting, planning, and capital structure
