RELOCATION to SUNNY Daytona Beach FLORIDA!!!!

Director of Operations / Plant Manager – Industrial Manufacturing (Relocation to Florida)

Relocation to sunny Daytona Beach, Florida!

A fast-growing, sustainability-focused industrial equipment manufacturer just outside Daytona Beach is seeking an experienced Director of Operations / Plant Manager to lead and scale its production and operations. With 10 years in business and a team of 50+ employees, this privately held company is moving into a high-growth phase and needs an operational leader who thrives in building structure, optimizing processes, and developing talent in a dynamic, evolving environment.

This is not a corporate, high-bureaucracy environment—we are looking for a hands-on, owner-operator style leader who can roll up their sleeves, build systems, and inspire teams.

Why Join Us?

  • Competitive salary up to $120,000
  • Full benefits: medical, dental, vision, PTO
  • High-growth company with excellent 2025 projections
  • Mission-driven, sustainability-focused product applicable across multiple industries
  • Relocation to Daytona Beach, Florida—enjoy a coastal lifestyle while helping scale an impactful business

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead all plant operations including production, scheduling, inventory, procurement, logistics, and quality
  • Build and improve SOPs to scale from low- to medium-volume production while meeting ISO certification standards
  • Oversee budgeting, costing models, lead-time and fulfillment planning, and site-level financials
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, HR, senior leadership, and customer-facing field service/installation teams
  • Champion Lean/Six Sigma initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Drive accountability, build morale, and develop a positive, team-focused plant culture
  • Provide indirect oversight of service, installation, and maintenance functions
  • Support and maintain IT infrastructure, systems, and software in coordination with technical teams

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years of leadership experience successfully scaling operations in a post-startup manufacturing environment
  • 7+ years in plant or operations management roles focused on mechanical/electrical industrial capital goods or light assembly
  • Strong experience leading ISO certification (including audits, prequalifications, recertifications)
  • Proven track record implementing improvements in supply chain, inventory, quality, and team performance
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, hands-on environments with a proactive and motivating leadership style
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and quality assurance practices
  • Strong business acumen: budgeting, costing, procurement, and demand planning

What We’re Not Looking For:

Candidates with backgrounds in big corporate, global manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, food, or consumer packaged goods industries are not a fit for this role. We’re seeking leaders with an agile mindset and growth-stage company experience.

If you're ready to take full ownership of operations, build systems that scale, and lead a strong team into the next phase of growth—we’d love to hear from you.

Apply now and help shape the future of clean, sustainable manufacturing.
