Sous Chef – Mission-Driven, High-Volume Commissary Kitchen

We’re not looking for an average Sous Chef—we’re building something impactful. If you’re energized by early mornings, passionate about food, and want to be part of a purpose-driven culinary team serving thousands of students daily, we want to talk.

Sous Chef – Benefits and Compensation

  • Monday–Friday schedule: 4:00 AM – 1:00 PM (no nights or weekends!)

Sous Chef – Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of professional culinary or food service experience
  • At least 1 year of supervisory or kitchen leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of food safety protocols
  • Ability to produce high-quality meals in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
  • Proven team leadership, training, and communication skills
  • High energy, strong work ethic, and commitment to service

Sous Chef – Preferred Background & Skills

  • Leads with a calm, positive presence and a sense of urgency
  • Passionate about nourishing others and making a daily impact
  • Skilled at creating a positive, team-oriented kitchen culture
  • Excellent communicator with a proactive, hands-on leadership style
  • Service-minded, reliable, and ready to start the day early
  • Culinary degree preferred but not required
