Our school is seeking a 10th Grade Science Homeroom Teacher to join our dedicated team. This is more than a job—it’s a chance to make a lasting impact while working in a supportive culture where jeans are welcome every day.

10th Grade Science Teacher – Responsibilities:

As the Lead Teacher, you’ll own your classroom—guiding instruction, setting the tone for culture, and helping students succeed both academically and personally.

• Delivering high-quality, engaging Faith Based Science instruction to 10th-grade students
• Leading your homeroom and supporting students’ social-emotional growth
• Mentoring and guiding a Teaching Assistant in daily classroom duties
• Adjusting instruction to accommodate students who are performing up to two grades above or below level
• Collaborating with staff to implement IEPs and student accommodations
• Managing classroom behavior in alignment with school expectations
• Communicating regularly with parents, colleagues, and specialists
• Participating in school events, meetings, and parent conferences

10th Grade Science Teacher Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum 2 years of classroom teaching experience
• Strong classroom management and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Flexible, dependable, and committed to student success
• Comfortable working with IEPs and diverse learning needs
• Eager to be part of a team-oriented, mission-driven school community

10th Grade Science Teacher Schedule & Employment Details:

• 10-month, full-time contract during the academic year
• Instructional hours: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (planning time available before/after)
• Intent to return in future school years strongly encouraged
