We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead operations in a fast-paced, high-volume dog food manufacturing environment. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for owning production performance, overseeing both shifts, and ensuring food safety and quality standards are exceeded.

Production Manager Benefits:

Production Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Operations Management, or a related field
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in food manufacturing
• Experience managing 90+ team members across multiple shifts
• Proven success in driving KPIs: yield, labor efficiency, and waste reduction
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methods
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred

Production Manager Key Duties:

• Lead and oversee daily production across two shifts, ensuring operational excellence
• Manage and mentor shift leaders, fostering accountability and staff growth
• Monitor and drive KPIs—improving yield, reducing waste, and enhancing productivity
• Lead structured improvement initiatives to streamline production and scale capacity
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain
• Serve as the production liaison with customers and the senior leadership team
