Corporate Aviation Of Counsel Opportunity

My client, a prestigious law firm with multiple offices across the U.S., seeks an experienced Corporate Aviation Of Counsel with 10+ years of expertise in high-touch corporate aviation transactions. This role is open to candidates throughout the US.

About the Role

The firm’s Aviation practice advises on aircraft transactions and litigation for a diverse clientele, including:

  • U.S. and foreign airlines
  • Businesses and high-net-worth individuals
  • Leasing companies, banks, and manufacturing suppliers

You will provide counsel on:

  • Aircraft selection, financing, and purchasing
  • Federal, state, and local tax issues
  • Structure, operational matters, and FAA regulations

The team handles transactions involving aircraft ranging from small general-aviation planes to large commercial jets, as well as aircraft completion, customization, maintenance, and operational issues.

 

Key Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience managing corporate aviation transactions and independently advising clients
  • Active bar license in the state where you wish to practice
  • Portable book of business is a plus but not required

  • Competitive salary starting at $300,000+, based on experience and location
