PLC Controls Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Program and configure PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) for automation systems
  • Develop and implement HMI systems for process control and monitoring
  • Perform system integration and hardware/software configuration
  • Troubleshoot, test, and optimize control system performance
  • Support installation, commissioning, and ongoing system maintenance

PLC Controls Engineer Requirements:

  • Proven experience in industrial automation and control system programming
  • Proficiency in PLC languages (Ladder Logic, Structured Text, etc.) and HMI platforms (Ignition, FactoryTalk, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP)
  • Ability to read schematics, P&IDs, and control panel drawings
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%, including internationally
