PLC Controls Engineer Responsibilities:
- Program and configure PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) for automation systems
- Develop and implement HMI systems for process control and monitoring
- Perform system integration and hardware/software configuration
- Troubleshoot, test, and optimize control system performance
- Support installation, commissioning, and ongoing system maintenance
PLC Controls Engineer Requirements:
- Proven experience in industrial automation and control system programming
- Proficiency in PLC languages (Ladder Logic, Structured Text, etc.) and HMI platforms (Ignition, FactoryTalk, etc.)
- Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP)
- Ability to read schematics, P&IDs, and control panel drawings
- Willingness to travel up to 30%, including internationally
