Our multi-national construction client is looking for an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Assistant Manager.

EH&S Manager responsibilities

  • Ensure regulatory compliance by integrating EHS services into project operations.
  • Identify and mitigate safety hazards to create a safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with employees at all levels, including Superintendents, Project Managers, and Executives.
  • Lead safety initiatives and promote a culture of safety across the project site.
  • Monitor and enforce EHS policies to align with company values and industry best practices.
  • Conduct safety training, audits, and inspections to enhance workplace safety standards.
  • Collaborate with EHS leadership to implement company-wide safety strategies.

EH&S Assistant Manager requirements

  • 5+ years of construction industry EHS experience
  • Holder of an OSHA 500-hour certificate
  • Current First Aid, CPR and AED certification
  • Current on continuing education units on topics like: Fall Protection, Scaffolds, excavation, confined space, crane operations, electrical and/or incident investigation
