Assistant General Manager Responsibilities

• Inspire, lead, and manage a high-performing front-of-house team
• Willingness to work a few closing shifts every week. Last call may be around 2am.
• Champion exceptional guest experiences—every shift, every guest
• Oversee training, mentoring, and ongoing development of team members
• Must be able to train out of town for up to 6 weeks
• Hold team members accountable while supporting growth and improvement
• Collaborate closely with the General Manager and leadership team
• Enforce strict safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
• Maintain budget-aligned scheduling and labor control

What We’re Looking For in an Assistant General Manager

• 4+ years of management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant with a full bar
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Hospitality degree is a plus, but not required
• ServSafe Certification preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Toast POS is a bonus
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
