Hello!  

We’re looking for someone with serious career drive and kitchen “chops” to be our next long-term Executive Chef in a brand new upscale venue in Birmingham…

Chef Responsibilities:

  • Leading, coaching, developing people through positivity in a new restaurant opening environment.
  • Full responsibility for accuracy in flavors, operations, costing, reporting, purchasing, receiving, preparation, service times, plating and product quality.
  • Implementing, monitoring, enforcing and perfecting processes and controls.
  • Set menu; Not a creative position

Chef Requirements:

  • Min 5+ years as Head Chef/Executive Chef/Chef d' Cuisine in fast-paced, upscale and/or fine-dining restaurant settings
  • Experience with 400+ covers, $6-8M in sales
  • Punctual, great communicator, even better listener, Ability to teach and coach and get people excited about cuisine.
  • Naturally hospitality-focused
  • Sharp appearance, well-groomed, tattoos not/less visible
