We are partnering with a well-established, family-owned manufacturing company that has been in business for over 50 years. They are seeking a hands-on, proactive Production Manager to bring structure and efficiency to their manual production environment.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working closely with ownership to optimize day-to-day operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and manage daily production schedules.
- Lead initiatives to improve workflow, reduce downtime, and enhance productivity.
- Apply Six Sigma, 5S, or other lean methodologies to optimize operations.
- Analyze performance data using Excel and ERP systems.
- Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) and drive structure.
- Collaborate directly with ownership on operational strategy and improvements.
- Ensure workplace safety and compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience managing a manual production floor—furniture manufacturing experience preferred.
- Strong background in process improvement, lean methodologies, and data analysis.
- Proficient in Excel and familiar with ERP systems.
- Hands-on leadership style with strong communication and employee relations skills.
- Prior experience in small, family-run businesses is highly valued.
- Stable work history (3–4+ years in each role preferred).
- Spanish-speaking ability is a plus, not required.
