This is an in-office role offering relocation assistance for the right candidate. Senior Financial Accountant Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally in a multi-location or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with complex spreadsheets
- Skilled at reconciling general ledger accounts and resolving discrepancies
- Effective communicator with strong organizational and leadership abilities
- Self-motivated and adaptable to a dynamic, growing environment
- Proven ability to meet monthly deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks
Senior Financial Accountant Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial statements for multiple business locations
- Post journal entries and maintain accurate financial records across various entities
- Analyze sales, inventory, job costing, and margin performance
- Perform monthly reconciliations and investigate discrepancies as needed
- Partner with shop managers and leadership to provide financial guidance and operational insights
- Prepare variance analyses, financial notes, and month-end reporting packages
- Participate in process improvement projects to drive efficiency and cost savings
- Monitor and review work-in-progress (WIP) calculations and inventory controls
Senior Financial Accountant Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive base salary of $95,000 to $105,000
